Google is now taking Nexus 7 (2013) orders in the Play Store for both Wi-Fi versions, with the devices expected to ship “by July 30.”

The company unveiled the new Nexus 7 tablet a few days ago, and said at the time that the device will launch on July 30. However, various partner stores have started selling the new tablet already, both online and in stores, ahead of the expected release date.

Therefore, we’re not surprised to see Google quietly start Nexus 7 sales in the Play Store.

We’ll remind you that the tablet will cost you $229 (16GB version) or $269 (32GB version), while the 4G LTE model that also sports 32GB of storage will be launched in the coming weeks.

Staples has a better deal for the Wi-Fi Nexus 7, as it was discovered that a $30 off coupon can be used towards the purchase of the new tablet – however, the deal may apply only to online orders, assuming there’s still stock to go around.

Other retailers including Best Buy, Amazon and OfficeMax are some of the retailers that have already started taking Nexus 7 orders, with some of them already shipping the tablet.

Have you ordered your Nexus 7 (2013) yet? Where did you buy it from?
