Nexus 7 (2013) is now on Amazon, could be in your hands by Saturday!

Nexus 7

The Nexus 7 (2013) isn’t supposed to be available until July 30th, but that’s not stopping several retailers from selling it early – both online and off. We’ve already reported on claims of the device shipping out already from Office Max and Best Buy, but if you act quickly, you can also get your hands on the device through Amazon.

The Amazon listing is for the 16GB Nexus 7 (2013) and is priced at $229.99 with free shipping – and it appears to be in stock right now! Even better, if you are an Amazon Prime customer you can shell out an extra $9 and get your hands on the new tablet as early as Saturday.

This kind of ‘early release’ thing is obviously pretty common, but why? Generally it comes down to miscommunication either between the retailer and Google, or the retailer and its managers/employees. Either way, it’s a win-win situation for us consumers.

So how about it, has anyone pre-ordered this bad boy yet? Did you receive any kind of confirmation from Amazon that your Nexus 7 is indeed shipping out today?
