Earlier in the month, the Android 4.4.3 factory images appeared for various Nexus devices, followed quickly by the latest Android 4.4.4 files. All except the Nexus 7 LTE that is, which has traditionally been slightly behind the curve when it comes to Android updates.

Finally though, the LTE version of the Nexus 7 has had its Android 4.4.3 factory image file made available by Google, bringing the tablet one step closer to the latest version of Android.

Unfortunately, there’s no indication when the most recent Android 4.4.4 files will finally make their way to the Nexus 7 LTE. If history is anything to go by, customers could have to wait a few more weeks, at least.
