Turns out that Rockchip MID I wrote about a few days ago has a name, after all! The Moonse MID is the one tablet that resembles the iPad the most, and again tries to brand itself as an “iPad killer”. It comes with Android 1.6 and an accelerometer. It actually features a dual core cpu, rather than the 1ghz I had previously noticed: CPU600MHz+DSP550MHZ.  The battery life is going to be an issue for users, as it’s only 1800mAH.
