Android Tablets starting at $35

I really, really like this idea – a company called AllGo is manufacturing android-based components complete with their branded Android OS for $15. You add a 7″ WVGA screen on top of that for another $15, then a battery for about $5, and you have yourself one of the cheapest Android tablets, period. Not sure if or when other companies will begin to take advantage of this, but I hope it’s soon; You could potentially add a capacitive screen and still keep the cost under $100. The board has an ARM9 i.MX233 CPU running at 450mhz – you can see in the video it performs admirably.
