Acer’s Iconia B1-A71 – that’s its name according to the press release – is going to be a 7-inch Jelly Bean budget tablet ready to take on the Nexus 7 or Amazon’s Kindle Fires, to name just a few Android tablets popular with the crowds.

You’ll certainly love the fact that unlike some similar devices out there – cough… Nexus 7… cough – the Iconia B1-A71 does come with microSD support for up to 32GB storage expansion. As for other specs and features, don’t expect the device to be a Nexus 7 contender when it comes to raw performance, but it will certainly get its job done.

Pricing and Release Dates

The Acer Iconia B1-A71 will cost “less than $150” when it launches later this year, although we don’t have actual release dates for you at this time.

Anyone looking forward to grab this device as soon as possible or are you waiting for Tegra 4 tablets to hit stores?
