Accessory woes may be no more; Nexus 7 (2013) accessories appear on Amazon and ASUS’ own website

Nexus 7
Many were frustrated that accessories weren’t immediately available for the Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 4, Nexus 10, and other Nexus devices. It was even more frustrating when accessories for these devices couldn’t be found until three or four months into their life cycle. There’s good news to be had with the Nexus 7 (2013), though! According to Amazon product listings spotted by Droid-Life, three accessories for this year’s Nexus 7 will soon be available.

There are three official Asus-made accessories listed on Amazon, and according to the Nexus 7 (2013) product page, there’s a travel cover, available in six different colors, a premium case that transforms into a stand, and even a screen protector for your new investment!

Travel Cases in various colors for Nexus (2013)

The travel case is made out of a durable polymer material, giving you more protection against the elements. As you might expect, it has the needed cutouts for all of your ports, and it comes in six different colors: orange, yellow, blue, pink, green, and dark grey. You can find the Amazon link for the travel case here, but the link isn’t live yet, so you’ll be met with a 404 error.

As for the premium case, it has all of your needed cutouts, along with a folding cover so it can work as a stand, too. It’s made out of soft microfiber and durable polyurethane, so your device will be fully protected. The premium case can be bought in black and white colors, but the link isn’t available, yet.

Screen Protector for Nexus 7 (2013)

Finally, we have the screen protector package. It comes with two screen protectors, a matte screen protector and a glossy screen protector. It comes with your usual cleaning cloth and squeegee to make sure the application process is as easy as can be. Again, the Amazon link can be found here, but it isn’t live yet, so you’ll get that 404 error.

Of course, let’s not forget about the Nexus 7 (2013) sleeve listed on the Google Play Store. It’s not available yet, but it’s another accessory that’ll keep your Nexus 7 (2013) cushioned and protected until you arrive at your destination. The product description mentions that there’s an outer pocket to keep all of your accessories “close at hand”, which is probably referring to your charger and headphones.

Let’s just hope these accessories will go live very soon. In the meantime, you can check these accessories out in their full glory on ASUS’ own website. Here’s the Travel Cover and Premium Cover overview listings.
