Sony’s Xperia X range are decent handsets on their own, although you would not find them on the top of most wish lists. That said, Best Buy’s latest offer might just tilt your head in their direction.
The unlocked flagship Xperia X Performance and the mid-range Xperia X are available via Best Buy with discounts of $115 and $120, respectively. Picking either up would mean you would not have to be tied down to a carrier for a certain amount of time.
With the discounts offered, the larger and beefier Xperia X Performance will cost $584.99. You can choose from white, black and pink colors, leaving those who prefer the green option disappointed. As for the Xperia X, it will cost $429.99 a pop, which is the most affordable sticker price we’ve seen to date for the device. However, it will not be accompanied by a 128GB microSD card that comes with other bundles from different retailers. Available colors for the Xperia X would be black, white, “lime gold,” and “rose gold”.
If you are looking in the direction of the Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra, they will also see their respective prices dropped by $30 and $40 on Best Buy.
These discounts might put these Sony smartphones on par with their competitors price-wise, but it might not be enough to sway popular opinion towards adopting these handsets as “must have” smartphones.
All purchases from Best Buy come with free shipping, with the in-store pickup option available for select models at your local store. There is no word on whether this is a limited time offer or a permanent price cut, so strike while the iron is hot.
