Last week’s poll summary: Out of over 8,900 total votes, a whopping 72.7% of our readers said they would buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX if it came to the United States. 18.1% of our readers said they would rather wait for reviews to go live before making a buying decision, and only 7% of our readers said they would not buy the Mi MIX.

Are you listening, Xiaomi?

Huawei recently took the wraps off a number of interesting products last week, including the Huawei Fit activity tracker and of course, the flagship Huawei Mate 9.

With a big 5.9-inch display, powerful Kirin 960 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of on-board storage and a 4,000mAh battery, the Mate 9 certainly boasts some top-of-the-line specs. Photographers might also take a liking to this device, as the Mate 9 comes with an impressive dual camera setup on the back. It has dual 20 and 12MP cameras on the rear, with an f/2.2 aperture, phase detection and laser detection autofocus.

Not every phone is perfect, though, and it could be argued that the Mate 9 comes with a few downfalls. For starters, the 5.9-inch display only has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, so it’s not going to be as sharp as many of the other flagships out there. Plus, the Mate 9 comes with an LCD panel, which means it may not be as vibrant as other devices that sport OLED displays. It should also be noted that speaker placement isn’t the best. The device has two bottom-firing speakers, which likely won’t be as immersive as front-firing speakers.

So, tell us – what would you change about the Huawei Mate 9? Would you have preferred a Quad HD screen? Would you rather the phone have front-facing speakers? Be sure to cast your vote in the poll below, and if you have anything to add, feel free to leave a comment below. We look forward to hearing what you have to say!
