If you happen to own a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ on Verizon’s network, we have some good news for you! Earlier this morning the carrier announced that it’s beginning to roll out the big Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to your devices. In case you were wondering, the update will come in at software version MMB29K.G928VVRU2BPC2.

Along with the standard package of Marshmallow features like Google Now on Tap, Doze mode and better control over application permissions, there are a few other features you’ll want to know about. This new update brings Wi-Fi calling to the S6 Edge+, as well as Live Broadcast improvements, Edge panel improvements, a few UI tweaks, and the removal of the Amazon Appstore. To check for the update manually, head to Settings>About device>Software update. If you’d like to learn more about this update, head to this link to get the details.

Verizon is also pushing out a smaller update to its Galaxy Note 5 that brings improvements to Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as fixes for the following issues:

  • Trouble connecting to the internet
  • Frequent data disconnection
  • Problems while loading files or web pages

The update comes in at MMB29K.N920VVRU2BPC2 and is now available for download.

Verizon isn’t the only carrier bringing sizable updates to Galaxy devices today. T-Mobile has just announced that it’s now rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge handsets. While the carrier still has yet to post an official changelog for the update, we do know that it will bring the S6 to version G920TUVU3EPD1 and the S6 Edge to version G925TUVU3EPD1.

The updates to Android 6.0.1 should weigh in about 1.3GB in size, so be sure you’re on a steady Wi-Fi connection and your battery is charged before you update. You’ll likely get a notification with the update in the next day or two, but you can also check for it manually by heading to Settings>About device>Software update.
