Motorola isn’t the only one who’s planning to paint the town red with the phone maker’s various limited edition devices, now we’re hearing that Samsung will refresh some of its Galaxy tablets by giving them a new splash of color.

The three devices that Samsung will re-introduce next year in Garnet Red are the Galaxy Note 10.1, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 – all 3G variants, while the WiFi models will be spared from the makeover.

We’ve seen the color before in past Galaxy smartphones, but it’s a whole new territory for the slates, as the Koreans usually stick to less exciting offerings of black and white. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet when the revamped devices will hit the market, we may get them in mid-February just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Aside from the tabs, we can also expect to see the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S3 Mini sporting new colors next year.  Whether you like it or not, it’s going to be a pretty colorful 2013 for Sammy.
