Evidence pointing to a 32GB variant of Google Nexus 7 tablet is in the works is piling up. But in case you need more solid proof that the Jelly Bean tablet will receive a bumped up storage, though minus the extra cost, we got that covered.
The 32GB Nexus 7 made its first of many recent outings in Argos’ gift guide for Christmas, complete with a £199.99 price tag in tow. We then saw Staples Advantage listing the 32GB Nexus 7 for $249.
The latest evidence comes from Dutch retailer MyCom. As reported by Androidworld.nl, customers who ordered the 16GB model of the tablet have received e-mails from the retailer stating that it’d be sending out the 32GB model instead with no extra charge. The expected shipping date for the latest variant of Nexus 7 is week 45, which starts on November 5.
On one hand, this is good news for folks who have been holding out for the quad-core slate. The same can’t be said about people who recently bought the 16GB version of Nexus 7 and find out that a higher capacity model will come with the same price tag. Perhaps Google will issue another free voucher?
Potential Nexus 7 buyers, will the introduction of a 32GB model priced at $249 convince you to get the slate?
