Purported Galaxy Note Pro image leaks

Galaxy Note Pro

An image reportedly showing the rumored 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro has leaked, although neither the device nor the image can be confirmed at this time.

The picture, first spotted by Sam Mobile (via CNET) on South Korean website cdpkorea shows the backside of a large tablet that’s place in landscape position in a display. However, it’s not clear whether this is indeed a Samsung-built device, and the descriptions placed near it aren’t decipherable in the picture. The tablet seems to be rather thin, features a rear facing camera and what could be Samsung’s leather-with-stitches material on the back.

By no means a confirmation of anything, the fact that the image has been taken down from the South Korean website since being initially posted is certainly interesting (see Source link below).

Whatever the device is, it’s also clear that we’re looking at a rather big tablet there. Even if that’s not the Galaxy Note Pro that has been appearing in more and more rumors lately, we’re still interested whether this is an Android device or not.

Interestingly, a render of what the Galaxy Note Pro could look like (image above) shares some similarities with the device in the image above, just check out the left side of the device in both images.

Finally, we’re going to remind you that the Galaxy Note Pro is rumored to be unveiled soon – maybe as soon as CES 2014? – and launch in the first quarter of next year alongside other new, but unofficial, Samsung tablets including the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

However, this is just a rumor at this point, so treat it accordingly.
