The Nexus 7 (2013) is available for pre-order from a local retailer in France, having an August 28 estimated ship date.

Fnac, currently lists the 32GB Nexus 7 Wi-Fi version for pre-order with the device being priced at €269.90 – that was the rumored price for the tablet in Europe.

We will note that the 16GB version or the 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) LTE model aren’t available for pre-order at this time. Furthermore, the local Google Play Store is not taking orders for the new Nexus 7, with the old model still available for purchase from Google.

Fnac also sells the first-gen Nexus 7 tablet, and other local retailers including Darty or Amazon.fr are yet to start selling the second-generation model.

Interestingly though, Fnac lists August 28 as the release date for the tablet, which is also said to be the launch date for the tablet in other countries including UK and Australia.
