Nexus 10 users looking to manually update their tablets to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat version – KRT16S – should know they can already download the latest firmware.

Earlier today, we told you that all KRT16S builds for all versions of the Nexus 7 tablet – including cellular and Wi-Fi models for both the 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7 editions – are available for download, allowing users to manually update the firmware on their tablets from various KitKat or Jelly Bean builds to Google’s latest Android 4.4 release.

The same goes for the Nexus 10, which can be updated either from JWR66U or from KRT16O to KRT16S. Droid-Life reports that the Nexus 10 over the air (OTA) update may already be available to some tablet users, so better check for updates on the device before going for a manual install:

In case you opt for the latter, check out our detailed how-to post on how to install KitKat on Nexus devices, and don’t forget to grab the appropriate download from the two options listed above!
