New Android Tablet by Kobian

If you’re planning to get an Android tablet for less than $250, you should look at Kobian’s new tablet under the Mercury brand called mTab2. The mTab2 is the successor to their original tablet and comes equipped with a 7” WVGA capacitive multi-touch screen, 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor, 3D accelerator, and 8GB memory. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Users will be pleased to know that the tablet contains a USB 2.0 port that can easily be connected to other devices including a mouse, keyboard, pen drives, and many more. Video chat is supported through the VGA front-facing camera. The HDMI port enables users to connect their tablet to a larger display device. As for connectivity, the mTab2 is available with WiFi connectivity.

The mTab2 has a 1-year warranty. Not bad for a dual-core tablet. It is currently available in India.
