Is Samsung prepping a new full HD Galaxy Tab for MWC 2013?

Samsung-Galaxy-Tab

Back when Android smartphones were seemingly all you can get in the market, Samsung released its first ever tablet in the latter part of 2010, the 7-inch Froyo-powered Galaxy Tab. The original Tab didn’t exactly set the world alight, but it did pave the way for the 7.7-inch, 8.9-inch, and 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab variants, as well as others.

We told you yesterday that we might see a device with an 8-inch form factor from Samsung being introduced at MWC 2013, though it’s one that will sport the Galaxy Note moniker. Apparently, it won’t be the only tablet offering that we’ll see from Sammy come February.

Citing an unnamed source, ETNews – a South Korean news outlet — said that Samsung is going to introduce the next generation Galaxy Tab, one that will sport a full HD display. Unfortunately, that’s as far as can we make out from the report, so we don’t have the full specs just yet.

However, we won’t be surprised if it comes with similar specs and features as the Google Nexus 10, which — in case you’ve forgotten — is manufactured by Samsung.

We should be hearing more details in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you posted.
