In January of this year the honor brand officially arrived to the United States, marking the occasion with the debut of the beautiful yet highly affordable honor 5X. Offered at just $200, it is easily considered one of the best budget Android phones available but what if you could get it for just a fraction of that price? Tomorrow Honor is giving you that opportunity, if you happen to be one of two lucky people.
The US only promotion begins on May 18th at 12:08PM EST and ends the second that the first person attempts to purchase the honor 5X. If you happen to be that person, you get it for just $1. Honor will give folks a second attempt at 5:08PM EST, once again just offering 1 honor 5X for a buck.
This isn’t the first time honor has ran such a promotion but last time they gave away one phone an hour at this price. Limiting it to just two phones seems a bit too stingy, but we suppose beggars can’t be choosers here.
As a refresher, the honor 5X is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processro with 2GB RAM. Other key specs include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13MP main cam, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3000 mAh battery. All of this wrapped within a metallic chassis that gives the phone looks that make it feel much more expensive than it is.
