The Google Pixelbook is currently being sold with $250 off at various retailers (as spotted by Droid Life). This means that the base model now only costs $749 dollars, while the top model has been brought down to $1,399.
The base model comes with 8GB of RAM, an Intel Core i5 processor, and 128GB of SSD storage. There is also a model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage (for $949) as well as a top-end model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. For an extra $99, or $88 at Best Buy, you can also purchase the Pixelbook pen for on-screen drawing.

Chromebooks run on Google’s own Chrome OS. This is an intuitive operating system that can now run Android apps, but its lightweight nature means it may not be practical for power users. Because of this, we suggested that despite the device being potentially overpriced, when it launched. Thanks to the recent price drop, it’s now looking like a much better deal.
