Deal: Best Buy knocks $200 off the LG G7 ThinQ

LG G7 ThinQ

Even though the LG G7 ThinQ launched in the U.S. less than a week ago, Best Buy already issued a $200 discount for LG’s latest flagship smartphone.

The discount amounts to $8.34 off the G7 ThinQ’s monthly price on both Verizon and Sprint. Interestingly, the Verizon version features an additional $4.16-per-month bill credit for 24 months, while the Sprint version features no additional discount.

This means that you only pay $450 over 24 months for the G7 ThinQ on Verizon, where the phone normally costs $750 outright. Meanwhile, the Sprint version goes for $592, which compares favorably to the phone’s normal $792 price tag on the carrier.

The discounts are rather substantial for the G7 ThinQ on either carrier, though the phone’s $450 price tag on Verizon makes it a no-brainer.

Editor’s Pick

Keep in mind that you must buy and activate the G7 ThinQ with a monthly installment plan to get the discounts. Also, we do not know when Best Buy’s discount and Verizon’s monthly bill credit will expire.

As a recap, the G7 ThinQ features a 6.1-inch display with 3,120 x 1,440 resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio, dual 16MP rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000mAh battery.

The G7 ThinQ also features Android 8.0 Oreo, a headphone jack, a Hi-Fi Quad DAC, wireless charging, IP68 dust and water resistance, a Google Assistant button, and, yes, the lovely notch up top.
