Asus PadFone 2 coming to Germany on December 1, available on-contract and unlocked

We haven’t heard much about the Asus PadFone 2 ever since the multi-talented device was announced last month. We do know that it’s coming to several European and Asian markets before the end of the year, a list that includes Germany.

If the latest report on its European launch is accurate,buyers in Germany can expect to see the PadFone 2 touching down on December 1.

The 32GB model of the Asus PadFone 2 will be selling for €799, while the 64GB variant will cost €899. Yes, these are the off-contract prices for the 3-in-1 device. As for those who’d like to save some money up front, Germany’s E-Plus will be offering the PadFone 2 for free with a contract. The data plans start from €34 a month.

It’s likely that we’ll be seeing the PadFone 2 showing up in more countries in the region in December, although folks in the UK won’t get it until early next year.
