Looking for Android for iPod Touch? It may not be too far off, according to the Linux on the iPhone blog. That’s because the same team who ported Google’s Android operating system to an iPhone is working on a brand new port, bring Android to iPod Touches here, there, everywhere.

Apparently, the binaries are expected to be available not too long from now, though the team has yet to specify an exact date of availability. Likely, the binaries for the Android port to the iPod Touch will become available on the same day as the binaries for iPhone 3G.
