- Amazon’s second-annual Digital Day is like Prime Day, but for digital items

If you thought that Amazon was done offering discounts for the year, I don’t blame you. We are nearing the end of 2017, after all.
That doesn’t mean the online retail giant won’t move forward with Digital Day, which threatens our wallets one more time with a day full of huge savings.
If you missed the first Digital Day in 2016, think of it like Prime Day, except the discounts only apply to digital items. Some of the bigger deals will only be available for today, though others have been available since December 26.
As for what is being offered, Amazon took up to 60 percent off movies like Wonder Woman, The Fate of the Furious, Moonlight, The Dark Tower, and more. Deals also include up to 50 percent off TV shows like Game of Thrones, American Gods, This Is Us, Outlander, and more.
You also get some pretty solid music-related deals, such as a 90-day trial for Tidal, three months of Amazon Music Unlimited for just under $1, and 25 percent off an annual subscription to Boomerang, which is sure to satisfy my nostalgia needs.
Apps and games are also being discounted, with at least 30 percent off games like Sonic Forces, Civilization VI, NBA 2K18, and WWE 2K18. Mobile games get some love as well, with a Digital Day Pack containing bonus gold, XP, speed-ups, and resources for Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire, Game of War, and Mobile Strike.
Finally, PC gamers are not left in the dust, since they can save up to 60 percent on games like Assassin’s Creed Origins – Gold Edition, For Honor, Overwatch – Game of the Year Edition, and more.
These are not all of the deals available on Digital Day — select best-selling Kindle titles are also being discounted and, because there are over 5,000 deals, we wanted to pick some of the better ones — so make sure to swing by Amazon’s online storefront to see what else the retailer has in store.
Remember that the deals are also available through the Amazon Appstore and the regular Amazon app, if you don’t have access to your computer. All of the deals will go live on December 29 at 12:00am ET.
