There seemed to be a bit of confusion – and excitement – about an Android Tablet PC on display at the Adobe booth at the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco. Some blogs have gone out on a limb and referred to this unbranded and clearly not-ready-for-prime-time tablet device as an Android prototype.

The folks at the booth were quick to point out that the device on display is not a prototype of an Android tablet. Instead, it’s a device that Adobe put together and threw the Android OS on top of as a way of demonstrating Adobe Air 2. (See video below)
