Drawing and coloring is about as much of a classic baby past time as anything can be. Even when I was younger, I loved to draw and color even though I was bad at both. This app lets your baby draw and color which can keep him or her occupied for hours. It costs $0.99 and there are no advertisements. It has crayons, brushes, pencils, and air brushes as well as 50 illustrations that kids can color in. Kids can have a lot of fun with it!

iStoryBooks is a collection of classic kids stories such as Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella. Obviously you’ll have to read these stories to your kids but there is a healthy selection of stories that you can read to your kids. Eventually you may need to get a monthly subscription but we imagine your child will have moved on to bigger and better things by then.

It’s important to note that babies develop differently. That means some of these games may be too simple, slow, or boring for your toddler while others may be too fast and too complicated.
