Even though Jelly Bean is yet to grab a significant market share of the Android OS ecosystem, more and more device are getting a Jelly Bean version. The last one to receive it is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Wi-Fi version (model number GT-P5110).
The Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the 10.1-inch tablet will be rolled out initially in the UK, with other markets set to receive it soon. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 owners will be able to update their device either over-the-air (OTA) or via KIES.
In case you need them, Sam Mobile provides additional details about this firmware version:
- Product code: GT-P5110TSABTU
- PDA: P5110XXCLK7
- CSC: P5110OXACLK7
- Build Date: 23-11-12
Sure, it’s not Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but at least you’re getting closer. Have you installed Android 4.1.1 on your Galaxy Tab 2 10.1?
