Hard to believe, isn’t it? That’s how much Sprint want your business. Maybe you’re not convinced by the idea of a lease, but it makes more sense than you might think.
Is it really free if I’m leasing?
It’s true that you don’t own your phone with a Sprint Flex Lease, but you don’t pay full price either. In this case, you don’t pay a penny. Your new phone is even eligible for Galaxy Forever, so you can upgrade to the latest Galaxy device after 12 months.
So no, you don’t fully own the device you pick, but when you can upgrade to a new phone every single year, who needs the old one? You’ve always got the latest model and, in this case, you’ve saved the $800 retail price.
A free Samsung Galaxy S10 obviously comes with a few caveats. The phone becomes free through bill credits over the course of your 18-month lease and new line of service. The cost to you is the cost of your plan, but you need a plan anyway.
You’ll pay the $37.50 per month original lease price too, so be ready to see it on your bill. After that, you’ll get it back via the bill credits after a cycle or two, as long as you see out the plan.
Is the Galaxy S10 the only option?
It’s the only free option, yes, but there are other phones that are on great Sprint Flex Lease discounts as well:
- Google Pixel 4: $15 per month ($33.30/month usual price)
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus: $20 per month ($45.84/month usual price)
- OnePlus 7 Pro 5G: $15 per month ($35.00/month usual price)
