We’re still months away from that time of the year when netizens and high street shoppers swarm over blink-and-you’ll-miss-it deals on pretty much every type of product you can think of, but some retailers are getting the party started early with “Black Friday in July” promotions.
Best Buy has been running a few offers on mobile tech this month, but one of the best we’ve seen so far (via Phone Arena) is the current offer the retailer is running on both the Samsung Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier.
The offer on Samsung’s smartwatch duo knocks a flat $70 off the list price, taking the $349 wearables down to $279 (20 percent off). That’s not all though, as you’ll also get a bonus $100 Best Buy gift card as part of the purchase.
The latter is an e-gift card and is delivered via email following receipt of the device. All you have to do is confirm your email address with the first 60 days to claim the voucher.
The eagle-eyed community over at SlickDeals has spotted that the $100 gift card offer is also valid for open-box versions of both Gear S3 models too. If you’re okay with a bit of wear and tear you can pick up the Gear S3 Frontier open-box for just $229, or the Gear S3 Classic for $223.
Even though the worst kept secret in the wearable world is that Samsung is preparing to launch a Galaxy Watch very soon, the South Korean giant’s last-gen devices are both fantastic and among the best smartwatches money can buy.
