1. Get select iPhones free, save on even more
What better way to skip the Apple Tax than to get a new phone for free? When you switch to T-Mobile, you can trade-in your current phone for an iPhone 11 or iPhone SE provided you meet certain conditions. If you have a newer phone like the Samsung Galaxy S10, iPhone X, or Pixel 4, you’re eligible for the free iPhone 11. If you still have an iPhone 7 or 8, you can trade it for the iPhone SE. If you’re interested in an iPhone but you don’t want the iPhone 11 or SE, T-Mobile has more options for you. You can save up to 50% on an iPhone XR when you switch to T-Mobile — no trade-in required. All you need is one eligible voice line and you’re set.
You can also save up to $700 on the powerful iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max as long as you don’t mind a trade-in. The trade-in options are the same as the iPhone 11 deal above, or you can trade a Google Pixel 3, Galaxy S9, or OnePlus 7 Pro for a $500 discount.
2. Buy a Galaxy Watch, get a second free
This Samsung Galaxy Watch deal allows you to get a free watch after paying for the first one. Up for grabs are the Samsung Galaxy Watch or the slightly newer Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. As usual, you need to buy the first device on installment over 24 months and the second device gets paid for via bill credits for the same time period.
You’ll also need to add one Digits line to your account, which will allow your LTE-enabled smartwatch to make and receive calls.
3. Open a new line, get a free phone
This is a great deal regardless if you are a new T-Mobile customer or an existing subscriber. The deal is simple: add a second line to a qualifying plan and get a free smartphone on that new line. Free is always the best price!

To qualify for this promotion, you’ll need to either already have or start a Magenta or Essentials line and then add a second Essentials or Magenta line to that same account. The price of the free phone will get charged to your account monthly over the next 24 months, but a bill credit each month will cancel out that charge. If you leave T-Mobile before the full 24 months have elapsed, you will be responsible for paying the balance of the device.
4. Get $200 when you switch and bring your phone
One thing that beats saving money to switch carriers is being paid to switch. Right now, T-Mobile is offering $200 to do just that. Not just one payment of $200 either, you can get $200 for each line that you switch. You can either buy a new device or bring your current one, and as long as you bring your phone number you’re all set.
Once you switch, you have two weeks to visit T-Mobile and enter the promo code 2020SWITCH1 for each line you bring over. In order to get your prepaid Mastercard, you’ll have to make sure that your phone’s IMEI number is eligible. Luckily, T-Mobile has an IMEI checker right on its site.
5. Buy one Samsung Galaxy S20, get a second free
If you’re looking for a quick way to upgrade two phones and save a lot of money, T-Mobile is offering a BOGO deal on the new Samsung Galaxy S20. It’s the perfect opportunity to upgrade to Samsung’s latest flagship with a Snapdragon 865 chip, 25W fast charging, and a powerful triple rear camera.
You will have to add two new lines of service, but you’ll get bill credits for the full value of the second device up to $1,000.
6. Save on 4G LTE tablets
If you need a tablet, you probably want one that connects to a mobile network so you can use it on the go. Sure, you could go out and buy a new one, but why not get one for free? All you need to do to grab the LG G Pad 5 or the Alcatel Joy Tab is add a new mobile internet line to your T-Mobile account, which you would need to have done anyway to get access to that 4G LTE network.
You can also pick up an Alcatel Joy Tab Kids edition if you’re looking for a good first piece of data-connected tech for your kids. While you can’t get it for free, you can still save 50% when you add a line with 2GB of data or more.
As usual, if you cancel your new line or return the tablet before 24 bill cycles are up, you’ll be on the hook for the remaining price of the tablet. But really, this deal is a no-brainer: A tablet is very handy and you get one for free!
7. Save $200 on the T-Mobile Revvlry Plus
If you add a new line to your account, you can get the T-Mobile Revvlry smartphone for free. However, if you want to step it up from the regular Revvlry to something more substantial, you can instead save $200 on the T-Mobile Revvlry Plus.
The Revvlry Plus is a significant step up over the Revvlry. It comes with a huge 6.2-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras with OIS, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 3,000mAh battery.
This device’s list price is just $350, so saving $200 is nearly a 58% discount. This is one of the best T-Mobile deals available!
As usual, the remaining price of the phone will get added to your account in monthly installments over 24 months. Avoid leaving T-Mobile during that time or you’ll need to pay off the balance.
8. Keep track of your pets with SyncUP Pets for free
If you have an outside pet and you want a little peace of mind, T-Mobile is offering a SyncUP Pets tracker for free when you add a line. SyncUP Pets is a mobile network-enabled tracker that you can attach right to your pet’s collar. All you have to do to get the SyncUP Pets tracker for free is set up a new line designed for the tracker. As long as you pay for the plan you’ll receive bill credits over the course of 24 months to help replace the cost.
