NotionInk Adam

Not sure if anyone has read about this yet, but NotionInk has a pretty stellar-looking tablet on the horizon: the Adam. This one is going to be a trend-setter, with it’s Pixel Qi transflective display. It will feature the NVIDIA Tegra T20 chipset, and one of those fancy 180 degree swiveling cameras that you’ve seen at the top of certain laptops recently. It is supposed to sport 1080p full HD video playback, and I certainly don’t doubt it considering the T20 has eight cores. Rounding it out are integrated WiFi, Bluetooth and UMTS/HSDPA – I think I’m liking this more and more. Look at their website for more info.

Notion Ink reckons the smartpad will be good for up to 48hrs standby on its integrated rechargeable Li-Ion battery, 8hrs of HD video playback and 16hrs of internet surfing over WiFi. It seems it’s the eight-core Tegra T20 chipset that’s primarily responsible for such longevity, though Notion Ink hasn’t shared any more details on it.
