So I wrote about the iRobot a little while ago, and I have some great news! The newer version of it, complete with a 1ghz – YES, that’s 1ghz – processor, should be shipping within the week. I have two tentatively pre-ordered,  as long as they’re able to meet the demand. The 600mhz version drops in price to $145 shipped (wholesale). If I were to secure a wholesaler, is there any interest in purchasing these from North America, rather than China? Shoot me an email or leave a comment. I have seen a video of this in action – it’s VERY impressive. I spoke to Marley, a Chinese sales rep, and he also mentioned that they are test-marketing 3G-enabled devices, to see whether there will be a market for them.
