The Xiaomi Mi Max is set to be unveiled on Tuesday, May 10th. To mark the upcoming event, the company have released a series of videos as a tribute to the event countdown and the launch of the Mi Max.

All of the videos (1, 2, 3) are in Chinese, which if you’re not familiar with the language, might make the videos seem a bit strange, but if you don’t follow the plot, not to worry, since it’s the Mi Max that is on showcase here, not the storyline.

With a 6.44-inch display at FHD 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Mi Max is in clear phablet territory and at an affordable price, which Xiaomi has become renowned for. The device is widely expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 650 SoC, 2GB of RAM, feature a 4500mAh battery, 15-megapixel camera, and 16GB of storage with a super thin profile, with what appears to be a curved metal back, similar to recently released Xiaomi devices.

Although the Mi Max is slated to be unveiled soon, it likely won’t see a U.S. release date anytime soon, if at all.
