Update, April 22: The second weekend of Coachella 2016 is about to fire up and you can once again stream multiple channels for free on YouTube (see below). But this weekend there’s a difference. Following the announcement earlier this week that YouTube now supports 360-degree live video streaming, select performances at Coachella this weekend will be available to stream live in 360 degrees.

Original post, April 16: The Coachella 2016 music festival has kicked off and you can stream different channels of content for free on YouTube all weekend. So if you can’t make it to the Colorado Desert in California in person, tuning in via YouTube might be the next best thing.

The streams begin Friday night and will continue right through until everything shuts down on Sunday. You have a few options for viewing too: either via Coachella’s channel in the YouTube app or on the official Coachella website with a browser.

For 360-degree streams, simply click and drag with your mouse to move the camera around if you’re on a desktop or swipe around on a touchscreen on mobile. 360-degree videos work the same whether you’re in the YouTube app or watching through a browser. What are you doing this weekend?
