With options like Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Spotify, there are tons of solid paid and free music streaming options out there for you to choose from. But now, Tidal brings something to the table that just might make you want to give it another look — a new high school student discount.

Starting today, Tidal officially offers a 50% discount for qualifying high school students. That brings the service’s Premium and Hi-Fi subscriptions down to $4.99 per month and $9.99 per month, respectively.

To qualify for the discount, you first have to verify you are a current high school student, and you must be at least 16 years old. The discount is available for current and new members, and new members can still take advantage of Tidal’s free 30-day trial.

Many streaming services offer college student discounts, but this is the first time one of them includes high school students. If you are in high school right now and happen to be shopping for a music streaming service, you really should take advantage of Tidal’s new student discount.
