These Sprint and Verizon offers make it a good time to buy an LG G8 ThinQ

Sprint and Verizon have rolled out some sumptuous deals on the latest LG flagship, the LG G8 ThinQ. The handset normally starts at $840, but with these offers, you could save some serious cheddar.

Sprint

Sprint’s deal sees you pay $15 per month for the device on a new line with an 18-month lease, plus you can get a $150 gift card thrown in if you buy $75 worth of accessories. You’ll need an approved credit card to get the deal, and a $20 monthly credit will be applied within the first two bills.

To get the gift card, you’ll also need to register the purchase online and it will arrive 8 to 10 weeks later. Sprint will deliver the phone within your typical 3-5 business days still, though.

Verizon

Moving on to Verizon, Big Red’s offer means you can save $350 off the LG G8 ThinQ (or the older V40 ThinQ, if you’re more interested in that) when you switch or add a new line with monthly device payments. The $350 will be credited to your account over 24 months, bringing the total price of the G8 ThinQ down to just $20.42 per month.

You can also receive a $200 Prepaid MasterCard for each line you switch to Verizon Unlimited. To take advantage of that, visit Verizon’s digital rebate center after your purchase and use the promo code APRILSWITCH. The prepaid card will show up within eight weeks.

Sweetening the deal further, the devices are eligible for trade-in credit worth up to $450, depending on which handset you trade in. Score!

The LG G8 ThinQ comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display at 3,120 x 1,440 resolution, dual rear cameras, and a Boombox speaker design which can basically turn your device into a Bluetooth speaker. Find out more about what we thought of the phone in our LG G8 ThinQ review.
