The recently released companion game for Christopher Nolan’s summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises is available for Android and iOS devices in the Google Play and App Store, respectively.

But Android users have discovered that the game is not exactly compatible with the Google Nexus 7, the hottest Android tablet in town that started shipping just over a week ago. Nexus 7 owners were not able to download the game after purchasing it from the Google Play store but it looks like the issue has been corrected with an app update.

But that’s not the only error Android gamers experienced. It appears that certain game resources were downloaded twice on some devices. You may think that’s not such a big problem, but The Dark Knight Rises is a 1.8GB download, so having certain files download twice is certainly annoying, as it requires plenty of additional memory.

The good news is that the game promises a great experience, as the player will be able to explore a “huge map,” “enjoy stunning graphics for total immersion in the dark universe of Batman,” use Batman’s arsenal and vehicle collection and deal with “dozens of missions” and “random events” – this immense Batman universe explains why the game needs so much storage space.

The game, a $6.99 purchase, is now fixed and can be downloaded from the Google Play.
