T-Mobile Galaxy Note launch postponed to August 8?

Various rumors and leaks have recently suggested that T-Mobile will soon launch the Samsung Galaxy Note, but that doesn’t appear to be the case yet. The phablet is available exclusively from AT&T in the U.S. so far, and it will continue to be an exclusive AT&T device until August 8.

A newly leaked screenshot reveals that the T-Mobile Galaxy Note will only hit stores on August 8, in time for the carrier’s Back to School sales promotion. However, there’s no price for the device, not to mention that T-Mobile will not confirm such details at this time.

Previous reports revealed that the Galaxy Note would be available from T-Mobile on July 11, but that potential release date was not confirmed by T-Mobile either. In case you were planning to get a T-Mobile Galaxy Note, then you’ll just have to wait a few extra weeks. And since you’re already waiting, then we’ll remind you that Samsung is rumored to announce the Galaxy Note 2 at some point in the following months and launch it by September – apparently the South Korean company wants to have the new phablet out in stores ahead of the sixth-generation iPhone.

The planner screenshots also reveal two other potential new smartphones, the Samsung Cacao and the Apex Q, which should hit T-Mobile stores at some point in the near future, and TmoNews reports that at least one of these two devices may be the recently leaked Samsung SGH-T699 slider.
