Back at MWC 2013, Sony took the time to officially launch the Xperia Tablet Z, with the superthin tablet expected to arrive in some markets in Q2, the U.S. included. Those who live in Japan won’t have to face the first-world problem of waiting for the Tablet Z to hit stores – at least soon enough.

If you’re interested in the LTE variant, you can pre-order the Xperia Tablet Z SO-03E via NTT DoCoMo starting this Saturday, March 9. It won’t come cheap though, as it’ll be selling for ¥85,704 or about $915. You can expect to get the tablet on March 22, the same day that it will go on sale.

Meanwhile, the WiFi Xperia Tablet Z is already up for pre-order as well, though it won’t be available in stores until April 13. You’ll have to shell out ¥60,000 ($640) to grab the WiFi model. In case you’re wondering, Sony will sell the WiFi variant of the tab in America for $499 (16GB).

Got your eyes on MWC’s best tablet for 2013? Hoping that Sony will bring the LTE version to more countries? Give us a shout below.
