We’ve been hearing the “mobile payments is the future” mantra for years now, despite the fact that this trend’s growth has been at a snail’s pace at best. The good news is that the relatively recent launches of Android Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay have finally seemed to push this movement forward in a big way.

Samsung certainly isn’t content to let things slow and has been actively working to add new banks, has taken on Samsung Pay promotions with carriers, and even has added support for loyalty cards. And now Samsung’s latest offer gives new Samsung Pay users $20 in gift card credit after they successfully complete their first purchase.

This US-only promotion is open to all legal residents and runs from May 20th until June 6th. Keep in mind that you’ll need to link up a bank account for Samsung Pay to work, and according to Samsung’s terms and conditions private label cards and Bank of America Visa debit cards added before March 31st are not eligible for the promo. Those who qualify for the promo will have their pick between store credit from Banana Republic, Regal Entertainment, Nike, California Pizza Kitchen, and Toys R’ Us.
