Guess what your favorite PMP budget Android tablet maker is up to? If rumor is to be believed, Archos is about to make its debut in the already-crowded but still attractive Android smartphone market. That’s not all, as it’s reportedly readying a super-sized tablet as well.

Archos has been diversifying its range of Android-based products in the last couple of years, so it makes sense for the company to expand its portfolio. What exactly will the France-based manufacturer have in store?

According to Pierre Lecourt, a French blogger who apparently got the scoop from an insider, Archos will unleash three smartphones soon: the Archos Carbon 35, the 48 Platinum, and the 52 Titanium. As you might have guessed from the names, each will sport a 3.5-inch, 4.8-inch, and 5.2-inch display – respectively.

The Carbon 35 seems to be the least exciting model out of the three, but its rumored €90 pricing might help it win some fans. Aside from having only a HVGA display, the phone is expected to pack a single-core processor, 512MB RAM, and 512MB internal storage.

Meanwhile, the €249 Archos 48 Platinum might ship with a HD display and a quad-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MTK6589 processor. As for the Archos 52 Titanium, Lecourt said that we’ll only be looking at a WVGA display (800 x 480 resolution) and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The price hasn’t been shared yet.

Now for the juiciest bit of the rumor, Archos is reportedly planning to introduce an 11.6-inch Android tablet, which the company will name as the Archos 116 Platinum. Rumored specs include a high-res screen, a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex A9 processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and Jelly Bean. The big slate is expected to come with a $465 price tag.

Although their existence haven’t been confirmed yet, are you looking forward to see any of the above hitting the market?
