Playbase Go Offers Kid-Friendly Tablet at $270

For parents who are looking for a friendly Android tablet for their kids, there is a new entry that they should consider. Karuma’s Playbase Go tablet was created with the learning benefit of kids in mind. As such, it is pre-loaded with several kid-friendly apps, including the highly popular kid-friendly apps by Zoodles.

The Playbase Go tablet has a 7-inch capacitive touch display and is powered by 1.2GHz single-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage memory. Apart from this, the tablet has a 4-hour battery life, .3MP front facing camera, aluminum backing, protective cover (known as playcover) that comes in color options of pink, blue, yellow, green, or purple.

It currently runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but they have promised they will be making an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich available in the coming months.
