The question is, what can’t you get? A Galaxy S10 5G, a Galaxy Note 9, a Pixel 3 XL — most of the hottest handsets are included in the deal.

The savings you make apply when you trade in your phone and open a new line of service. If it happens to be an unlimited plan, you can get the free $200 Mastercard too.

You can also take advantage of this trade-in deal if you’re upgrading as a Verizon customer, but the maximum savings are $200 rather than $450.

Whatever your savings, you’ll receive it back in bill credit across the life of your contract.

So will Verizon give me $450 for my Nokia 3210?

It doesn’t apply to all phones, unfortunately. However, there are around 20 eligible handsets. They include phones as old as the iPhone 7 and the Galaxy S8.

That’s for the maximum trade-in discount too. For $200 savings, you can trade in one of about 40 more older phones, such as the original Google Pixel. We highlighted a deal yesterday giving you the chance to buy one for $110.99, so it’s more than worth it.
