Nextbook Premium 10SE goes for sale for $280, a 9.7-inch Android tablet with ICS

If you’re on the lookout for a new Android tablet, but don’t particularly care about the brand if it means paying less, you might be interested to read what Nextbook has to offer. The Nextbook Premium 10SE is a budget slate that packs decent specs at a tempting price.

The Premium 10SE boasts a 9.7-inch TFT display with 1,024 x 768 resolution, which isn’t exactly the best even for the low- to mid-end market, but it could’ve been worse. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and has 1GB of RAM. To keep things on the affordable side, the slate only offers 8GB of internal storage, but there’s a microSD card slot for up to 32GB of extra space for your files. The Premium10SE also sports a 0.3MP front-facing camera, WiFi b/g/n, and G-sensor.

The tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, and it comes with 25 free eBooks that you can read on the preloaded Nook for Android app.

You can already purchase the Nextbook Premium 10SE for $279.99 in various retail stores. Being thrown in as a bonus is a protective pouch for the tablet.  Those who want more oomph and jelly can look forward to these retina gems right here instead.
