Nextbit has just announced a huge software update for the cloud-focused Robin handset, as well as a new partnership with audio company AIAIAI.

The first thing you need to know about this OTA update is that it not only brings Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to the device, but also the April Android security patch and a slew of new emoji. Better battery life and improved performance are also promised with this update, as well as new sound tuning from audio company Arkamys. This will allow the Robin to produce clearer sounds both through the built-in dual speakers and the headphone jack, even if you choose to turn the volume to max.

A new (and faster) camera app is also coming with this update that Nextbit says will produce much better pictures.

That’s not all, though. Nextbit has also announced a partnership with AIAIAI. Thanks to this partnership, Nextbit has spec’d out a custom set of TMA-2 headphones made for the Robin. These new headphones use a powerful, high-sensitivity neodymium speaker unit that will deliver “a vibrant and detailed sound, with dynamic bass and crisp treble.” If you’re interested in checking them out for yourself, they’re already available on Nextbit.com for $225.

This partnership brings more than just a pair of headphones. Nextbit is also launching a new curated ringtone series that will feature ringtones made by popular DJs such as Giraffage (Breeze) and Lauren Lo Sung (Patricia). The first two ringtones are available for download on Nextbit’s community blog.

And finally, you can now buy the Robin on Amazon! Both color options – Mint and Midnight – are available for purchase for $399.
