MWC is quickly approaching, and although it seems fairly likely that we will see a new flagship handset from Sony, it’s less certain whether or not the company will reveal a next-gen tablet as previous rumors have suggested. We might not know if the Xperia tablet Z’s successor will be shown off at MWC or not, be we do know it is coming eventually.

Earlier today @evleaks revealed that the upcoming device will go by the name Sony Xperia tablet Z2 and will feature a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU with 3GB of RAM. Other specs for the Tablet Z2 include a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 Triluminos display, 16GB storage, microSD, 8MP rear cam, 2MP front cam, a 6000 mAh battery, a waterproof design and Android 4.4 KitKat.
