Android 6.0 Marshmallow is heading out to a selection of US carrier branded handsets today. On T-Mobile, there’s the HTC One M8 flagship and the budget oriented LG G Stylo, while Verizon is rolling out its own update to the One M8 also. The new software introduces the familiar Marshmallow features, along with a few tweaks unique to each manufacturer.

Starting with the HTC One M8, T-Mobile is rolling out software version number 6.20.531.5. Verizon’s own update gives a slightly different version, 6.21.605.3. The carrier’s support page lists some of the changes included with the update, including new volume controls for notifications, audio and alarms, simplified screenshot capture, and the assorted main Marshmallow features. The list includes Google Now on Tap, updated app permission control, and Doze mode, to name just a handful.

Verizon also has a number of smaller updates rolling out for some of its products. The latest Android security patch is making its way to the carrier’s Nexus 7, while the Gear S is receiving some minor fixes to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
