Kobo Arc now available in Canada and UK, coming to France on Monday

The Kobo Arc has officially arrived in the United Kingdom and Canada today, and will come to France on Monday. Pricing for the 7-inch Kobo tablet starts at $199.99 for the 16GB model.

The Kobo Arc is powered by a 1.5GHz OMAP 4470 dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Other specs include a 7-inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, a 1.3MP front-cam, Wi-Fi and a customized version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Best of all, the tablet comes with Google Play, giving the Kobo Arc a major advantage when compared to devices like the Kindle Fire HD.

Besides the 16GB model, there is also a 32GB and 64GB model priced at $249.99 and $299.99, respectively. For those in the United States, there is no word on when the Kobo Arc might arrive, but we do know it has already passed through the FCC.
