Is this the LG G Pad 8.3?

A purported LG G Pad 8.3 press render has hit the web, apparently showing the upcoming tablet side-by-side with the newly launched LG G2 smartphone.

Assuming the image is real, we’re looking at a tablet that looks very much like a smartphone, apparently sharing some of the design elements of the LG G2 including rounded corners and slim bezels.

However, the image below can’t be confirmed at this time, although we expect to see more LG G Pad 8.3-related leaks in the coming weeks, considering that the device is expected to be unveiled at IFA 2013 in early September.

LG G Pad 8.3

Earlier today we saw a teaser for the LG G Pad 8.3, which confirmed the name of the device and its size, with LG suggesting that it’ll make a tablet that’s “just right for you.”

Not many other details are available at this time about the LG G Pad 8.3, but rumors say the tablet will pack an 8.3-inch Full HD iPad-like display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor under the hood.

The device is also rumored to hit some markets by the end of September, after being introduced at the German trade show next month.
