We already knew about two playable Easter eggs hidden in the wildly popular Facebook Messenger – chess and basketball – but it turns out you can also play football (or soccer) straight from your chat window.

Simply send the soccer ball emoji to whomever you want to challenge to a friendly game. Tap the emoji and you get to play. Don’t expect too much – all you have to do is tap the ball to keep it bouncing. You can see who set the highest score in the chat, but that’s pretty much it.

You will need to have the latest update installed in order to play Messenger’s hidden ball game.

Facebook is riding the interest wave generated by Euro 2016 and Copa America Centenario 2016, and it’s not the only company capitalizing on the football craze – Google offers match results in Google Now and right at the top of its search results, making it super easy to keep up with the competition.
