Google is sending out referral codes that give users 15 percent off Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL purchases. The codes, which are being dispatched via email, also awards referrers a $50 coupon if someone uses their unique code.
The news arrives via DroidLife, but it’s unclear who exactly Google is sending the codes to; it looks like they’re being handed out to customers who’ve previously purchased a Pixel 2 (so those customers would be incentivized to get others to buy one).
The Pixel 2 currently starts at $649 while the Pixel 2 XL costs $849. With 15 percent off, that brings them down to $551 and $721 respectively. Google is also giving away free Google Home Minis with Pixel 2 XL purchases at the moment, worth $49 (just make sure both are added to the basket if you want to cash-in on that).
This makes for decent savings, the only trouble is getting your hands on a code. If you’ve received one and don’t know anybody who wants a Pixel 2, drop it in the comments below for another reader, if you like. It could earn you a $50 coupon to spend at the Google Store!
